Indications:

Pharmacology

• Oestrogens, such as the one present in Oestrogel, modulate the pituitary gland's secretion of gonadotrophins—luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH).
• This modulation occurs through a negative feedback system.
• Oestrogens are essential for the development and proper functioning of the female reproductive organs.
• They contribute to the maintenance of these organs throughout a woman's life.
• Oestrogens are responsible for the development of secondary sexual characteristics in females, such as breast development and distribution of body fat.
• Through negative feedback, oestrogens help regulate the secretion of gonadotrophins (LH and FSH) from the pituitary gland.

Dosage & Administration:

• The dosage is measured using the ruler on the tube.
• Half ruler (1.25g of gel) is one application.
• Apply once daily to one arm, from the wrist to the shoulder.
• It is not necessary to massage or rub Oestrogel.
• Do not apply to the breasts.
• The gel typically dries within 2-5 minutes.
• To prevent the spread of medication to others, it is important to wash hands with soap and water after applying Oestrogel.

• Conditions exacerbated by fluid retention, hypercalcemia, cerebrovascular disorders, coronary artery disease, gall bladder diseases, and lipid effects.
• Dosage reduction in hepatic impairment.
• Caution in lactation.
